I began my career in the Monroe County Public Defender's Office. 4 years later I moved on to a civil litigation firm, and was later of counsel to a DWI defense firm. I have conducted countless hearings, jury trials, bench trials and depositions, and have handled all aspects of both civil and criminal appeals.

I am currently the Chair of the Technology and Law Practice Committee of the Monroe County Bar Association. In 2019 I was awarded the Monroe County Bar Association President's Award. I am also a Fellow with the College of Law Practice Management.

In the past, I was on the board of the Genesee Valley Civil Liberties Union, served on the Gender Equity Task Force Commission of the New York State Bar Association, was a member of the Rochester Advisory Board of Legal Assistance of Western New York from 2005-2008, and was a member of  the Board of Directors of the Monroe County Legal Assistance Corporation from 2000-2005.
